This contract follows the successful [emergency takeover of McKinley County Adult Detention Center health services](https://www.roadrunnerhealthservices.com/updates/emergency-take-over-of-new-mexico-detention-center-results-in-a-shift-of-perspective) by Roadrunner Health Services. Roadrunner Health Services’ CEO David Montoya commented, “With an average of over 20 years’ clinical experience — and a low staff turnover rate of two percent over the past five years — we have the professional depth and expertise to handle long-term service contracts as well as emergency takeovers. We’re committed to a high standard of care, supported by the latest medical innovations. All of us at Roadrunner Health Services welcome this new opportunity to go ‘above and beyond’ for patients in Valencia County Adult Detention Center.” Montoya explained further, “We have local staff in areas where there are current RFP bids out. Our clinician leadership team is prepared with equipment, computers, supplies, and staff training for any emergency takeovers or/and awarded contracts. We are proud to have never used any agency staff to cover a shift in over 24 years in business and we plan on continuing that successful coverage. We recently took over McKinley County Detention Center and they had approximately seven agency staff covering their shifts.
