Roadrunner Health Services Becomes Healthcare Provider for the Curry County Detention Center

Roadrunner Health Services (RHS) to become the healthcare provider for the Curry County Detention Center. The contract was awarded to RHS by the Curry County Board of Commissioners on December 13th and will start on January 1st, 2023. 

The new contract will provide comprehensive medical and mental health care to inmates at the facility. This includes emergency response, primary care, mental health services, and more.

RHS' goals directly line up with the goals of the Curry County Detention Center to provide "a safe, secure, and humane environment" for their patients. Together, RHS and the Curry County Detention Center will be able to make great strides toward improving the health services within the detention center.

With this partnership kicking off the new year, RHS is in the process of retaining and hiring medical professionals and is on track to fill all of the available positions before January 1st. “Since beginning in 1998, we’ve ensured that all shifts have been 100% staffed by our experienced employees,” says Montoya. “We’ll continue to provide our facilities with the best medical staff possible, in 2023 and beyond.”
