The new contract will provide comprehensive medical and mental health care to inmates at the facility, including a proven safe detox and suicide prevention program, emergency response services, and more.

“We couldn’t be more proud to take on this new challenge and serve the Grant County community,” says David Montoya, CEO of Roadrunner Health Services. “Through this new partnership with the Grant County Detention Center staff, we hope to take the healthcare of all inmates to the next level. Roadrunner Health Services  continue to establish themselves as leaders in the NM correctional healthcare industry”.

RHS will continue to focus on hiring local talent and prides itself on  staffing their contracts 100% internally without any agency support. Grant County Detention Facility will be the seventh correctional facility in New Mexico that is currently being served by RHS. “We are the healthcare provider for Curry County Detention Center, Hidalgo County Detention Center, Lea County Detention Facility, McKinley County Detention Center, Rio Arriba County Detention Center, Valencia County Detention Center - we look forward to adding Grant County Detention Center to our roster and bringing more job opportunities to Silver City,” says Montoya.
